There lived a Tiger in the forest. He was ferocious and had killed many animals when he was young. Slowly, with time, the tiger had become old and couldn’t catch a prey. He thought of a master plan and announced in the forest that “I have become enlighted now and have decided to become a saint, from now on, I will only eat vegetarian food.”
Soon, these words spread in the jungle like wildfire and innocent animals believed him and started going to him to pay their respect. The old tiger pounced on lonely animals and killed them in his cave. It was easy prey for him.
These words of the Tiger fell into the ears of a Rabbit, and he can’t believe that a tiger can be a saint and he was eager to find the truth.
The rabbit hid well and came near the cave of the tiger. When carefully examined, he found that the footprints of animals were going towards the cave but not returning from the cave. He understood that something was fishy and disclosed the secret of the old tiger to all the animals of the jungle. After that day, nobody dared to go to that cave, and the tiger met a slow death due to starvation.
Moral of the story- Don’t believe anyone very quickly.
