Stopping by the market, she filled her basket with fruits, vegetables, and groceries -she made sure she did have enough time to cook the menu she had already decided. He was to meet her after seven years -her excitement naturally was growing every minute. Her husband observed her and came closure trying to be supportive. He was entirely not thrilled as his wife with the arrival of their son. He would have preferred him to stay where he came from. On an ordinary day, the queue at the cash counter irritated Neeraj, and he was cursing the weak system of the hypermarket On their way back they wanted to pick something for their grandchild. The shop was as fantasy oriented. The toys were arranged in age order Hema seemed clueless. She was searching the best toy for her two-year-old granddaughter. He saw his wife smiling at herself, wondering what the unconditional love that a mother has towards their children. No matter how they behave or how they abandon their parents were. He saw his wife -Unwilling to hurt her, he placed his credit card on the counter and looked at his wife who was selecting a baby dress. Their son was arriving on Saturday midnight. Demi was the daughter-in-law who they had n’t meet till now, But he changed himself when he realized that his wife was unhappy, depressed, and dejected. She was an early riser -there was a mystical element to her life. It was half-past one, and there was no news from their son. She patiently waited for their arrival. At around 2 p.m, the doorbell rang -on their porch stood their son. with a pale-complexioned woman, who had an infant in her arms. She hugged her son and daughter-in-law with tears. They decided to leave by 7 pm which his mother resisted and requested them to stay back at their residence for the next few days. They refused the offer very politely and preferred to stay in the hotel. After hearing a negative response -he was taken aback and hurt. They bid bye to their son and his family at half past 7 in the evening and shut closed the door behind them. With a very heavy heart, Hema descended on the couch and took her last breath Truly remembrance in life’s passing. Is the truest form of love one can give, for memory should never die-and a love should live forever in the heart of another. A reunion Much Awaited by Ranjini.
